Accessibility Statement
We want shani-amit.com to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. The site aims to meet WCAG 2.0 level AA, per Standard SI 5568.
What we have done
- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Semantic headings and landmarks for screen readers, and a full Hebrew version with right-to-left layout.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative duplicates are hidden from assistive technology.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, scrollable galleries and contact form, with a visible focus indicator.
- Animations respect the “reduce motion” system setting. On the homepage, a pause button (bottom-right corner) stops all moving galleries.
- Sufficient color contrast and touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels for controls.
